Title:            A Refinement of Shor's Algorithm

Abstract:



A refinement of Shor's order-finding algorithm is discussed. With the aid of this refinement, it is

possible to determine the required order with very few runs of the quantum computer. The

probability of determination of the order after at most 4 runs of the quantum computer exceeds

92%, and the probability of determination of the order after at most 6 runs of the quantum

computer exceeds 98%.
