Title:           Recent results in exactly solvable models describing atom-molecule mixtures

10am, Wednesday 2nd November, 2005

blding 67, room 641

Abstract:

We develop a new Hamiltonian arising from the quantum inverse scattering method on an open boundary.  The Bethe ansatz equations are derived and the eigenvalues determined.  In the quasi-classical limit the model is recast as a Schrodinger equation using identities arising from the BAE.  We discuss future aims of the research.

All interested are invited to attend.
