Title:            Exactly Solvable Quantum Mechanics

11.00am Wednesday, 6th September 2006

Priestley  Blding, room 140

Abstract:

An introductory lecture of exactly solvable quantum mechanics is given.  The old results of Crum, Infeld-Hull etc are introduced from a different angle, that of “SUSY
quantum mechanics” with the concept of “shape-invariance”.  These are quite easily generalised to ‘discrete’ Quantum Mechanics, which is a deformation of
Quantum Mechanics with difference equations instead of differential equations.

This lecture will be quite easy to understand for most of the audience including honours students, yet it has some results recently obtained.

All interested are invited to attend.
