Title: An Integrable Quantum System: fermions of two colours in delta interaction
3pm, Friday 31st March, 2006
Priestley Blding, room 140
Abstract:
Delta interaction is an integrable or exactly solvable, quantum system. This talk will emphasize the one dimensional quantum system of two equally represented fermionc colours (spin up, spin down) in a macroscopic environment (N→∞ coordinates, domain of length L→∞, N/L=ρ≠∞). The methods and
results are interesting and controversial. Hopefully, a good time will be had by all.
Background reading for the talk can be found at http://homepage.mac.com/mcguj/.
All interested are invited to attend.
