UQ MATHEMATICAL PHYSICS WORKSHOP 2002

The 3rd UQ Mathematical Physics Workshop was held at Calypso Plaza, Coolangatta, Gold Coast over 4-6 October 2002; it immediately followed the 46th Annual Meeting of the Australian Mathematical Society in Newcastle. The workshop was run by the Centre for Mathematical Physics with the aim of fostering closer ties between researchers working in all areas of mathematical physics throughout Australia, particularly in the fields of statistical mechanics, quantum field theory, quantum information theory and algebraic and geometric methods in mathematical physics. The format of the workshop was similar to that of previous years; with both invited and contributed talks; see the program and abstracts for details.
